Do you have concerns about whether or not you are using materials in a legal and ethical manner in your classroom? Are you unsure whether or not you are being compliant with copyright? Do you have questions about fair use and its application? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please attend one of the two sessions listed above. In these sessions, Megan will provide a brief crash course on copyright, fair use, and Creative Commons Licensing (CCL) and how to use them all appropriately to enrich teaching, learning, and research.

Zoom is a simple-to-use online video conferencing and meeting platform that offers quality video, audio, screen-sharing, recording, and group collaboration features. TALON, an advising aid for identifying and reaching out to students with academic needs, was piloted during fall 2017 and spring 2018 advising. Phase One began with PREP advising in summer 2018 and will continue into the fall 2018. This ULM-developed system is designed to improve student retention and graduation rates and reduce faculty advising loads, allowing more time for teaching and research.
