From hands-on activities and simulations to real-life insights from healthcare pros, this summer is your chance to scrub in, suit up, and explore what it’s really like to work in healthcare. No textbooks—just real-world experiences, new friends, and a whole lot of inspiration.
All high school students are invited to attend the University of Louisiana Monroe's Nursing Boot Camp! At Nursing Boot Camp, you will spend four days immersing yourself in various nursing fields, including disaster nursing, surgical nursing, and more. You will learn important skills including how to take blood pressure, and you’ll even have the opportunity to learn bystander CPR and the Heimlich maneuver.
