The University of Louisiana Monroe campus closes at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 17, for
the holiday break. The university reopens Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at 7:30 a.m.
Classes for the spring 2022 semester begin Monday, Jan. 10.
Dining
Dining and food services, including Starbucks, are closed until Jan. 3. In the SUB,
Grille Works and Subway will be open for Spring Move In, 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday
and Saturday, Jan. 7-8.
Bookstore
The ULM Bookstore in Sandel Hall is open during the break, except for closing at noon
Thursday, Dec. 23, and remaining closed Friday and Saturday, Dec. 24-25. The bookstore
is closed Friday, Dec. 31.
Library
The ULM Library reopens on Monday, Jan. 3.
Residential Life
Residence halls reopen Friday, Jan. 7, for Spring 2021 Move In for continuing and returning students. Check-in is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Activity
Center. Freshmen and new-to-campus students move in on Saturday, Jan. 8. Check-in
is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Activity Center.
The Fall 2022 housing application goes live at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 at https://www.ulm.edu/reslife/fall-application.html.
Faith organizations
Campus faith organizations are closed for the holiday break.
Warhawks Basketball
Warhawks Men’s Basketball is at home for a 2 p.m. match Saturday, Dec. 18, against Southern Miss. The team
travels to Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Monday, Dec.
20. In a Sun Belt Conference match, the Warhawks are on the road Thursday, Dec. 30,
facing Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C. The game starts at 6 p.m.
The Warhawks start 2022 at Appalachian State in Boone, S.C. at 3 p.m. (CST) Saturday,
Jan. 1, in a Sun Belt match. ULM returns to the home court on Thursday, Jan. 6 (TBA)
against the Little Rock Trojans and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8 against Arkansas
State, both Sun Belt games.

Warhawks Women’s Basketball has a home stretch starting at noon Saturday, Dec. 18, against McNeese. At 2 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 20, the Warhawks welcome Mississippi Valley State. In Sun Belt play,
the Warhawks take on Texas State at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, and UT Arlington
at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1.
Sun Belt action continues when the Warhawks Women head to Little Rock for a 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 6, match with the Trojans. At 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, is in another
Sun Belt match in Jonesboro, Ark., against Arkansas State.

MLK Day of Service groundbreaking
Groundbreaking for the Ester Gallow Community Garden is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5,
beside Roy Neal Shelling Sr. Elementary School, 4200 Elm St., in Monroe. ULM will
create the community garden for its MLK Day of Service project. Preparation for the
garden will take place the week of Jan. 10, with planting on MLK Day, Jan. 17.
