Our Warhawks play football in Malone Stadium; basketball in Fant-Ewing Coliseum, baseball in Warhawk Stadium, and students also have use of facilities for softball, soccer and tennis. All students also have access to the Student Activity Center, where they can participate in intramural sports teams and other health and wellness programs.

The tranquil Bayou Desiard flows through our 238-acre tree-shaded campus, offering scenic views and countless opportunities to enjoy the unique beauty of the southern outdoors. Take an interactive virtual tour of ULM's campus to see all the resources available for student success.

About Monroe & West Monroe

Map of Louisiana and surrounding areas

ULM is located in Monroe, Louisiana, USA, and is within two miles of Interstate 20, which allows for easy access to Jackson, Mississippi; Shreveport, Louisiana; and Dallas, Texas, among other metropolis areas. The climate in Monroe is relatively mild and humid, and the cost of living is more affordable than the national average.

The area of Northeast Louisiana - and its surrounding environs - make up a hub of economic, academic, and professional opportunity. With 96 majors and minors across dozens of fields, and nearly 70,000 alumni to date, ULM feeds hundreds of qualified graduates into that hub - and beyond - every year.

Monroe and West Monroe - Northeast Louisiana's own Twin Cities - boast lovely views of the scenic Ouachita river, frequent arts and cultural events, state-of-the-art medical complexes, numerous state and local parks, award-winning local cuisine, and industry leaders in business, technology, and communications. Together, the Twin Cities serve as the commercial, cultural, and agricultural heart of the Northeast Louisiana community.
