ULM's Sigma Delta Pi initiates new members
The Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi at the University of Louisiana at Monroe recently initiated five new members.
Sigma Delta Pi is the national honor society of Spanish. Initiates must have met the following requirements for membership: a 3.0 GPA in Spanish, a 3.2 GPA overall, and completion of 18 credit hours Spanish, including a course either in literature or culture and civilization.
The ceremony was conducted by President Melinda Johnson of Bossier City with the help of Secretary Julie Landry of New Orleans, and chapter members Psyche Wiley of West Monroe, Alex Babin of Ponchatoula, Laura McLeland of Monroe, and Angélica Hale of Calhoun.
New Members:
Brittany Beasley, of Tallulah, Rebecca Gibson of Rayville, Jacie Jones of Monroe, Alex Young of Grand Cane, and Wyoneka Harding of Houma.
