CenturyLink Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer to visit ULM for Women's History Month March 26
Karen Puckett, executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Monroe-based Fortune 500 Company, CenturyLink, will speak at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, as part of the university's celebration of Women's History.
Puckett's presentation will take place in the University Library Conference Center, located on the seventh floor of the ULM Library.
This event is free and open to the public.
Puckett has over 29 years of experience in telecommunications, and has been with CenturyLink for 13 years.
She is responsible for the CenturyLink's financial and operational performance in the business and consumer segments.
Puckett's biography states, "[her] intense focus on the customer experience and implementation of promise-based management within her organization have contributed to consistently strong results during her tenure with the company."
"We are pleased to have Ms. Puckett speak for Women's History Month," said Dr. Wayne Brumfield, vice president for student affairs at ULM.
"She has been a leader in the consolidation of the telecommunications industry through her work with CenturyLink's recent acquisitions and the integration of its business operations.
