ULM president celebrates new Bon Aire Bike Trail
ULM President Dr. Nick J. Bruno joined Monroe officials in celebration of the new Bon Aire Bike Trail during an official ribbon-cutting, Monday, Oct. 29, outside the ULM Alumni Center.
The bike trail, which runs through a portion of ULM's campus, is an initiative of the Monroe City Council, Planning & Urban Department & Monroe Advocates for Safe Streets (MASS).
Bruno applauded Monroe city officials and MASS for their diligence in creating the bike trail.
"This new bike trail enhances the standard of living for our citizens, so I applaud our city leaders. ULM stands prepared to be an active partner anytime we can improve our area and make this a place people want to come and live. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this."
