ULM's 31 Ambassadors named CASE District IV's Best
ULM's 31 Ambassadors were named Outstanding Student Organization for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education's District IV, which includes ambassador programs from Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Mexico.
This marks the third time in the last seven years that the 31'ers have received the prestigious CASE award.
Tommy Walpole, advisor for the 31 Ambassadors, was pleased with the announcement. "The 31 Ambassadors receiving this award is a result of the hard work and dedication placed into their events all year. The time they dedicate to ULM and the ULM student body is amazing and greatly appreciated. Recognition at this level now puts them in contention for the National Award to be presented this summer in Indianapolis."
The 31 Ambassadors are a high profile, high-energy organization composed of some of ULM's finest students.
31 Ambassadors at ULM serve as the official host for alumni-related activities while sponsoring events aimed at increasing student awareness of ULM and its Alumni Association.
Membership applications are available now, and the newest 31 Ambassadors will be chosen in April.
Applications are available at the ULM Alumni Center or on line at www.ulm.edu/alumni/31.html.
