ULM's PREP to include expanded July sessions
The University of Louisiana at Monroe has added new expanded July Preview Registration & Enrollment Program sessions for incoming Fall 2012 freshmen.
The July 11-12 and July 18-19 PREP programs will join the June orientation sessions – June 13-14 and June 27-28 - designed to help new students make a smooth transition to college life at ULM.
The weekend of June 6-7 is reserved for incoming students receiving an academic/merit scholarship.
"We want to reward students for doing an excellent job in high school and for working hard," said Seth Hall, coordinator of Orientation and Special Programs at ULM.
During PREP, students select fall classes, scope out the campus and meet their fellow classmates.
Students will also meet with faculty and administrators, take necessary placement exams, change their major if needed, and finally make course selections.
For more information and registration, call the PREP Hotline at 318-342-7315 or 1-800-372-5127 or visit ulm.edu/prep.
