ULM Health Studies faculty present nationally
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Health Studies Department faculty's expertise has been in high demand in the recent academic year.
Dr. Paula Griswold and Dr. Annette Tommerdahl published an article in "Medical Sociology Newsletter," volume 48, issue 3, spring 2012, titled "Components of Online Course Delivery."
Griswold also presented at the National Rural Health Association in Colorado on "Challenges of Developing Two Online Health Studies Courses" April 17-19.
She collaborated with Dr. Sandra Hill, associate professor and head of ULM's English department, on "Opportunities for High-Level Scholarship and Service in Service-Learning."
A presentation was made at the University of Louisiana System 2012 Academic Summit on April 19.
Tommerdahl also presented during the spring of 2012 at the Midwest Scholars Conference in Indianapolis, Ind., on "Challenges of Developing Online Accelerated Courses."
