LA Dept. of Agriculture Commissioner Strain to visit ULM Sept. 22
Dr. Mike Strain, Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, will give a lecture on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.
Strain's lecture will be held Thursday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.
This event is free and open to the public.
A native of Covington, Strain earned a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1983.
Strain holds a commission from the U. S. Food and Drug Administration and is Treasurer of the Interstate Pest Control Compact.
He was elected as Commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry in 2007.
