ULM's College of Pharmacy faculty appointed to state association
The University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Pharmacy has announced the appointment of three faculty members who will serve as officers of the Louisiana Society of Heath-System Pharmacists.
The following faculty members from ULM were elected to officer positions: Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Roxi Stewart, President-Elect; Assistant Professor Dr. Brice Mohundro, board of directors; and Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Jessica Brady, board of directors.
According to their website, LSHP is a professional organization of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and related personnel practicing in organized health care settings.
The Society now serves over 1000 members and is a state affiliate of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
"We are very appreciative of the outstanding work our faculty does every day at the College of Pharmacy," said ULM College of Pharmacy Dean Benny Blaylock.
"These individuals have been chosen to leadership positions at the state level, which is a testament to their commitment to enhancing the pharmacy profession here in Louisiana."
