ULM professor to appear on LPB Sept. 28
Associate Professor Dr. Christine Berry, director of risk management and insurance at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, will appear as a panelist on "Louisiana Public Square."
Louisiana Public Square is Louisiana Public Broadcasting's monthly news and public affairs program in which a citizen roundtable discussion is followed by a question and answer session with a panel of four experts.
Berry will participate in a discussion focusing on why Louisiana homeowners and automobile insurance rates are so high and how these rates affect recruiting of businesses.
Also attending the taping as members of the audience are two ULM Senior Risk Management and Insurance majors, Beaux Duhe of Houma and Danielle Weddle of Rayville.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to discuss this topic that is so important to the economic well-being of Louisiana property owners and drivers," said Berry.
The program will air statewide on LPB at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28.
