ULM Choir performs at "Christmas Between the Rivers" Dec. 1
The University of Louisiana at Monroe President Nick J. Bruno, in association with the West Carroll Chamber of Commerce, will present "Christmas Between the Rivers" featuring the ULM Choir, Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Historic Fiske Theatre in Oak Grove.
"Christmas Between the Rivers" will begin at 7 p.m.
This will be the first time that the Historic Fiske Theatre has hosted a choir from a major university for a public performance. The ULM Choir performed at the theatre a few years ago as part of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council's tour for the schools.
"We are very excited about having a group of talented young people perform for the citizens of our region," Chamber Director Adam Holland said. "This speaks volumes to President Bruno's administration's commitment to include the entire region as part of the ULM family."
The concert is co-sponsored by KWCL Radio, The West Carroll Gazette and Sonic Drive-In of Oak Grove.
Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the theatre box office the night of the performance. Advance tickets can be purchased at Small Town Designs in Oak Grove.
