ULM and LSBDC holds new series of workshops in July
The University of Louisiana at Monroe and the Louisiana Small Business Development Center will be offering a new series of workshops for small business owners.
The workshops will run throughout the month of July and will cover topics including direct mailing options, marketing and financing a small business, and commercial lending.
Three of the four workshops will be held on the ULM campus with the last being held in Jonesboro.
All workshops are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required.

Starting and Financing a Small Business
Thursday, July 14, 6-8 p.m.
ULM Administration Building Room 2-109
This two-hour workshop is recommended for individuals who are interested in determining the feasibility of their idea, are planning to start or have recently started a small business, want to expand their business, are interested in obtaining a small business loan, or want to learn more about planning and management.
Marketing for Small Business
Tuesday, July 19, 6-8 p.m.
ULM Administration Building Room 2-105
This workshop will provide small business owners the tools they need to improve their sales and profits while efficiently managing marketing dollars.
Understanding Commercial Lending
Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Greater North Louisiana CDC
160 Industrial Drive, Jonesboro, Louisiana
This workshop is designed to help you understand the basics of commercial lending that will help you feel more confident in dealing with your banker.
