ULM professor subject of full-length documentary
A University of Louisiana at Monroe professor will be the subject of a full-length documentary film about his life and work.
Dr. Bradford Keeney, who serves as the Hanna Spkyer Eminent Scholars Chair in Education at ULM, is the subject of a film produced by Werner Kubny Films of Germany, a European company that has been producing major films for over 30 years. The film will be directed by Italian filmmaker Stefano Levi.
To be filmed in English and distributed worldwide, it will feature Casper Van Dien, lead actor in numerous Hollywood films including Sleepy Hollow, James Dean: Race with Destiny, and Starship Troopers, and Catherine Oxenberg, star of the former television hit series, Dynasty, and lead actress in the movie Charles and Diana.
Grammy-award winning guitarist Al Di Meola will also appear in the film, recreating a moment when he recorded a song for Keeney inspired by their performance together at the former Miami Arena in the 90s.
Locations for filming include tribal communities throughout southern Africa, as well as locations in Japan, Brazil, Europe, New Orleans and at ULM.
