ULM Senior Art Student published in national photography magazine
University of Louisiana at Monroe senior art student Allison Salsbury of West Monroe was recently published in Photographer's Forum: Magazine for the Emerging Professional.
Photographer's Forum is a quarterly publication dedicated to quality reproduction of photography in the United States and Canada.
The magazine also features photographers and their art and offers tips for shooting.
Salsbury joined Dr. Joni Noble in the British Studies program this summer, studying art photography in London, England.
The winning photograph is her first day assignment – finding a line where two planes meet.
As a one of 1,570 student finalists from across the world she will be published in a hardbound book sent to universities and other subscribers as well as published in the magazine sent to photographers.
Photography is a way to capture a moment in time and make it last a lifetime for Salsbury. "Through photography you can capture and provoke emotion," she said.
