ULM Alumnus to receive prestigious teaching award
University of Louisiana at Monroe Alumnus Dr. Daniel F. Jennings (MBA '72) will receive a Distinguished Teaching Award from Texas A&M University.
Jennings serves as the Andrew Rader Professor of Industrial Distribution and Program Director of the Master of Industrial Distribution for the university's Look College of Engineering.
Presentation of the award will be during the annual ceremony at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, in Rudder Theatre on the A&M campus. The ceremony will be followed by a reception in Rudder Exhibit Hall.
The award, which is funded by the Association of Former Students, is one of the most prestigious awards that can be presented to faculty or staff members at Texas A&M.
A committee composed of faculty, students, former students, and staff carefully chooses each recipient. The award is testimony to the esteem in which his colleagues hold Jennings.
Colleagues, family, and students are invited to share in the celebration of Jennings' achievement.
