ULM Presidential Finalist interviews and selection schedule set for Oct. 22

The Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System will hold a special meeting to interview three finalists and select a new president for the University of Louisiana at Monroe this Friday, Oct. 22, in Baton Rouge.

INTERVIEW ORDER:

Thomas F. Moore, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at Winthrop University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.


Peter J. Fos, Provost and Executive Vice President at The University of Texas at Tyler. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Care Decision Analysis from Tulane University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.


Nick J. Bruno, Vice President for Business and Finance at the University of Louisiana System. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.

The Board will receive public comments at the start of the meeting followed by individual public interviews of each finalist.  After interviews, the Board will deliberate and publicly vote for a new ULM president.

Friday's special board meeting is the culmination of four months of work by a 14-member ULM Presidential Search Committee that interviewed semi-finalists on campus last week and recommended the three finalists to the Board.
