ULM Caddo/Bossier Scholarship Alumni Golf Tournament scheduled for May 21

Entries and sponsors are being accepted for the Second Annual Caddo/ Bossier Alumni Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, May 21, at the Crooked Hollow Golf Club in Greenwood, La.

Proceeds raised from the tournament will help endow a scholarship at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The event is hosted by ULM alum Tim Brando and begins with a noon shotgun start. The tournament is a four-person scramble, followed by an awards reception, where prizes will be given for first, second and third place winners, as well as awards for winners of the longest drive and closest to the hole contest.

Acura Car Company is sponsoring a hole-in-one contest for a 2010 Acura vehicle during the tournament.

Registration is $100 for individuals and $400 for team. Entry fees cover lunch, door prize tickets, a drink cart and more.

The tournament is the ULM qualifier for the Acura College Alumni Team Tournament hosted by Pinehurst Country Club, North Carolina in November.
