ULM’s Kelsi Crain gets stylish; prepares for state pageant
A style show featuring Miss ULM 2010 Kelsi Crain of Monroe is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, June 13, at the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall, as she prepares for the Miss Louisiana Pageant held later this month.
The event, hosted by the Office of Student Life and Leadership and the Campus Activities Board at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, is one of several that Crain has made appearances at to promote her platform “Heart for the Arts.”
One of the ways Crain promoted her platform this past spring was by holding a dance clinic on campus to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Crain, a kinesiology major at ULM, is also a dancer and instructor at the Missy Crain School of Dance and a performer with the Louisiana Delta Ballet Company.
ULM senior Hope Anderson of Monroe, a mass communication major, and ULM graduate Erica Durr of Marthaville, are also competing in the Miss Louisiana Pageant on Saturday, June 26.
Joanie Williams, ULM’s director of Student Life and Leadership, is accepting reservations for the style show at 318-342-5293 through Friday, June 11.
