ULM biology department invites its alumni to celebrate its 50th anniversary April 30 - May 2

The biology department at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will celebrate its 50th anniversary with events and receptions.

The department, officially organized in the 1959-60 school year, has continued its mission to provide the university and local community with expertise in the sciences through excellence in teaching, research and service.

The celebration will consist of several activities culminating in the main event, the department’s 50th Birthday Reception from 6-8 p.m. on May 1 at the ULM Museum of Natural History.

All ULM biology alumni are invited to attend as many of the events as possible. Guests are requested to RSVP at: www.ulm.edu/biology/50th_Celebration.html.
