ULM health sciences professor to serve on international peer review journal
Nova Southeastern University has invited Dr. Matthew Matusiak, an assistant professor of health sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, to sit on their review board for the College of Allied Health and Nursing’s Peer Reviewed Journal.
Nova Southeastern University officials expressed that Matusiak’s background in healthcare management and research would be an asset in his role as peer reviewer.
The IJAHSP is an internationally peer-reviewed, open-access, scholarly, on-line journal dedicated to the exploration of allied health professional practice, research, and education.
The goal is to help first time as well as seasoned authors publish.
Matusiak holds a doctorate of health science, as well as a master’s degree in management. He is certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a Clinical Laboratory Compliance Professional by the National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel.
In February 2006, he was honored with an appointment as a Fellow to the Royal Institute of Public Health in London; in 2007, he was honored with an appointment as Fellow with the American Institute of Chemistry in Philadelphia.
