ULM Student Affairs sponsors educational forum on domestic violence March 9
The ULM Division of Student Affairs is sponsoring a campus forum to increase awareness of the dangers associated with domestic violence.
Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Wayne Brumfield will moderate a panel discussion on the topic, “Domestic Violence for College Students: A Recipe for Disaster.” This event will take place Monday, March 9, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on the second floor of the Student Union Building.
Panelists are Judge Carl Sharp, 4th Judicial District Court; Ms. Josephine Heller, Assistant District Attorney of 4th Judicial District; Chief Larry Ellerman, University Police Department Chief; Ms. Valerie Bowman, Director of Domestic Violence Program for the Wellspring Alliance; Dr. Rob Hanser, Department Head of Criminal Justice; Dr. Pamela Saulsberry, Department Head of Social Work; and Mrs. Karen Foster, Director of the ULM Counseling Center.
