ULM alum published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise professional journal
The University of Louisiana at Monroe alumnus Dr. Guoyuan Huang’s work was recently cited in the July issue of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise.
In that journal, the American College of Sports Medicine released their position stand on “Exercise and Physical Activity for Older Adults.” Two of the research articles cited in the position stand credit Huang as first author.
Huang received his master’s degree from ULM in 1992 in health and physical education and a certificate in gerontology. After completing his doctorate at the University of Kansas, he is now an associate professor at the University of Southern Indiana. His major area of research interest is exercise and the elderly.
