2009 Spring Career Fair set for Feb. 11
The Office of Career Connections and Experiential Education invites University of Louisiana at Monroe students to attend the 2009 Spring Career Fair, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 11, in the Student Union Ballrooms.
The fair is a wonderful opportunity to match job seekers with a range of businesses looking to hire new graduates. Approximately 50 local, regional and national companies will be represented at the fair.
Students must adhere to a professional dress code in order to enter the fair and are encouraged to brush up on their interviewing skills and bring an updated resume.
For help with these items, students may use the free services available at the Office of Career Connections and Experiential Education by calling 318-342-5338. Students may also want to visit the office’s Web site for a listing of resume and interview workshops, at:
www.ulm.edu/careerconnections.
For students who may be thinking of continuing their education beyond the baccalaureate degree, representatives from ULM’s Graduate School will also be available to answer any questions and provide assistance.
Businesses who are interested in setting up a booth at the fair may also call or visit the web site for an enrollment form. A small participation fee will be imposed.
