ULM grad Marzolf places in national Future Business Leaders of America competition

ULM graduate William Marzolf (’08) recently placed in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga.

Marzolf, a May 2008 graduate from ULM with a bachelor’s of business administration degree, placed sixth in the management analysis and decision making category at the June 21 event.

Prior to the national placement, he won first place in management and decision making and in public speaking at the state competition, which allowed him to compete at the national conference.

Marzolf was accompanied by Lea Booker, past president of the ULM chapter of the PBL business fraternity and its current Louisiana president; by Kevin Sledge, president of the ULM chapter of PBL and a business management senior from Oak Grove; and by faculty advisor Dr. Melissa V. Melancon. The ULM chapter of PBL was restarted in 2007; this was its first time to compete.
