Lock to present on Uncle Tom’s Cabin at Sigma Tau Delta Lecture Oct. 28
Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society at the University of Louisiana Monroe, will sponsor its annual lecture Tuesday, Oct. 28, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Administration Building, room 2-48.
ULM’s Dr. Helen Lock will present the lecture. Her title is "Literature as Propaganda: The Case of Uncle Tom's Cabin."
The Sigma Tau Delta Lecture is presented each fall when members invite an English professor to present his/her recent scholarship.
Dr. Mary Adams, assistant professor of English, described the event. "The Sigma Lecture brings faculty and students together around our shared interests in literature, research and writing."
