LSBDC at ULM to offer "Starting and Financing A Small Business" regional workshops in June
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will hit the road in June, providing a "Starting and Financing a Small Business" workshop on three separate occasions, beginning Thursday, June 5, from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Concordia Bank and Trust Community Room in Ferriday.
The workshop will especially help individuals who have the desire to start or expand their business and don't know where to start. The "Starting and Financing A Small Business" workshop helps identify business ideas and explains the steps necessary to develop a business plan and identify sources of funds.
The workshop in Ferriday is co-sponsored by the Town of Ferriday, the Ferriday Chamber of Commerce, the Concordia Economic Development Commission, the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, and the USDA Rural Business Cooperative Service.
Another "Starting and Financing a Small Business" workshop will be offered Tuesday, June 10, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Schepis Museum in Columbia.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Town of Columbia, the Caldwell Parish Chamber of Commerce, the Columbia Mainstreet Program, the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, and the USDA Rural Business Cooperative Service.
The third "Starting and Financing a Small Business" workshop will be offered Thursday, June 12, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Oak Grove City Hall.
The Oak Grove workshop is co-sponsored by the Town of Oak Grove, the Oak Grove Chamber of Commerce, the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, and the USDA Rural Business Cooperative Service.
