ULM to host Second Annual Global Warming Forum April 15

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will host its Second Annual Global Warming Forum Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hemphill Airway and Computer Science Building, room 134.

The Global Warming Forum is a debate-style examination of the titular topic. Questions will come from audience members (who are encouraged to bring questions). Panelists will have a specified amount of time to respond. Other panelists will then have the opportunity to rebut or elaborate on the answer to the posed question.

Donald Jones, vice president for the ULM Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, relayed what audience members should gain by attending. “[They will] discover the causes and effects of climate change, through scientists, in a wide variety of fields, as well as examine current climate research and draw their own conclusions on climate change based on the facts and interpretations presented.”
