Fourteen ULM students win prestigious ADDYs at awards program
ULM students from diverse majors submitted a total of 40 student entries in the American Advertising Federation Student ADDY Awards Competition section. Fourteen students won the prestigious ADDYs at the awards program March 6 at the West Monroe Convention Center.
The victorious ULM students are:
- Alicyn Franks - three Gold ADDYs
- Kelly Lawrence - one Sliver ADDY
- Summer Bradley - one Gold ADDY
- Breanne Wagner - one Gold ADDY and Best of Student Show
- Juanita Hernandez - one Gold ADDY
- Daryl Fortenberry - two Gold ADDYs and Judges Award
- Kellie Jones - one Silver and two Gold ADDYs
- David Hene - one Silver ADDY
- Allison Hefln - one Gold ADDY
- Frank Sampagnaro - one Gold and one Silver ADDY
- Clark LaBorde - one Silver ADDY
- Jordan Cunningham - one Silver ADDY
- Anna Giannobile - one Gold ADDY
According to the AAF, the not-for-profit industry association that administers the ADDY Awards via at least 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts, this section is designed especially for college students. The category allows work entered at a local level to advance up to regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the U.S.
The banquet, sponsored by the Ad Club of Northeast Louisiana, had hundreds of total entries, primarily from local advertising agencies.
