ULM students submit 40 entries to compete for prestigious ADDY Awards March 6
University of Louisiana at Monroe students will again be well represented at this year’s renowned ADDY Awards program Thursday, March 6 at the West Monroe Convention Center, beginning at 6 p.m.
ULM students from diverse majors have submitted a total of 40 student entries in the American Advertising Federation Student ADDY Awards Competition section. According to the AAF, the not-for-profit industry association that administers the ADDY Awards via at least 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts, this student competition is designed especially for college students. This category allows work entered at a local level to advance up to regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the U.S.
The banquet, sponsored by the Ad Club of Northeast Louisiana, has hundreds of total entries, primarily from local advertising agencies.
