LSBDC at ULM to offer two "Starting and Financing A Small Business" regional workshops in late June

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will continue its travels in late June, presenting a "Starting and Financing a Small Business" workshop on two separate occasions, beginning Tuesday, June 24, from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Jonesboro Town Hall in Jonesboro.

The workshop will especially help individuals who have the desire to start or expand their business and don't know where to start. The "Starting and Financing A Small Business" workshop helps identify business ideas and explains the steps necessary to develop a business plan and identify sources of funds.

The workshop in Jonesboro is co-sponsored by the Town of Jonesboro, the Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce, the Greater North Louisiana CDC, the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, and the USDA Rural Business Cooperative Service.

Another "Starting and Financing a Small Business" workshop will be offered Thursday, June 26, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Delta Bank Community Room, located at 1617 Carter St. in Vidalia.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Town of Vidalia, the Vidalia Chamber of Commerce, the Concordia Economic Development Commission, the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, and the USDA Rural Business Cooperative Service.
