ULM SBDC to offer patents, copyright and trademarks workshop Jan. 17
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Small Business Development Center will provide a Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks opportunity Thursday, Jan. 17.
For those needing technical information related to a new product development or wishing to investigate the potential growth of a company as a result of acquiring new technology, the University of Louisiana at Monroe SBDC is helping to provide that as part of its continuing education program. Business people and individual inventors are offered an opportunity to discuss their invention or project with a technology development specialist. The specialist, Bob Montgomery, a registered patent agent, has extensive experience in bringing new products to market.
The LSBDC provides quality, no-fee, confidential, one-on-one counseling services to potential and existing business owners; provides no-fee management and technical assistance services by appointment; conducts workshops and seminars to help small business people become better managers and to keep them informed about current events and changing trends in today’s business world; and maintains a resource library which includes statistical data, census figures, SBA publications, and a variety of other information.
Preregistration is encouraged. To schedule a free appointment with Montgomery, call the ULM SBDC at: (318) 342-1224.
