Spoken Word Night/Floetry and Black History Game Show scheduled Feb. 27 – 28
The NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha and the Campus Activities Board will sponsor a Spoken Word Night/Floetry at ULM Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Student Union Building, Ballroom A from 7 – 9 p.m.
Participants will showcase spoken word, poetry, singing and dancing talents. A live jazz band will be present, and door prizes will be awarded. Admission is $3, and canned goods are accepted for charitable donation.
The second day of "Traces of Our History" presented by NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and CAB will feature a Black History Game Show Thursday, Feb. 28 in the same location from 7 – 9 p.m.
Participants and attendees will learn interesting facts about black history. Admission is $3, and canned goods are accepted for charitable donation.
