ULM thanks Congressional Delegation for supporting Intermodal Transit Facility; ribbon-cutting Feb. 21
Students have been enjoying the Intermodal Transit Facility since November 2007. On Thursday, Feb. 21 at 4:45 p.m., ULM will publicly thank U.S. Representative Rodney Alexander and others for their support of the facility, located at 407 University Ave. Congressman Alexander will attend the ribbon-cutting, which will last about 15 minutes. SGA President Brady Middleton and his assistant Micah Pulliam will participate in the event.
ULM President James Cofer said, “ULM's Intermodal Transit Facility is the result of a community partnership, helmed by an outstanding leader, Congressman Rodney Alexander. We are very grateful for Representative Alexander's steadfast support. This valuable resource for our students is possible because of his industry and foresight. Likewise, leaders like U.S. Senators Mary Landrieu and David Vitter continue their longstanding support in the Senate. Projects like the Intermodal Transit Facility are a success thanks to their belief in ULM and its missions.”
ULM faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the ribbon-cutting.
