LSBDC salutes National Small Business Week April 21 - 25; workshop opportunity April 24

Small business owners will be honored across Northeast Louisiana and the state during the 45th annual National Small Business Week April 21- 25. In honor of this occasion, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will provide a free "Sources of Funding for Small Business" workshop Thursday, April 24 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Administration Building, room 2-51.

This workshop is designed to inform small business people and entrepreneurs who may want to start or expand a small business about different sources of funds available. Representatives (loan officers) from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Louisiana Economic Development Corporation, USDA Rural Business Cooperative Services, North Louisiana Business Industrial Development Corporation, Louisiana Business Loans, Enterprise Corporation of the Delta, and a local bank will discuss their programs and how to access these sources of funds for start-up and expansion. If capital is needed, one of these programs may meet the need.
