Faculty Artist Concert Series features James Boldin Oct. 1
The Division of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will present James Boldin in its Faculty Artist Concert Series Monday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Biedenharn Recital Hall.
Boldin, assistant professor of horn and music history, will be accompanied by Emy-Lou Biedenharn Endowed Chair in Music Huei-En Hsu and Christopher Thompson, professor of violin.
Boldin will perform works from Richard Strauss and Verne Reynolds, and will conclude the evening with Johannes Brahms' “Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano in E-flat major, op. 40.”
He is currently completing his requirements for the doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
