LifeShare Blood Center thanks ULM for record-breaking totals; next donation scheduled for Nov. 12 – 16
Thanks to generous donor response, the Sept. 17 – 21 ULM LifeShare Blood Drive set new ULM-related records and increased anticipation for the next scheduled donation Nov. 12 – 16.
LifeShare Blood Center set the goal at 115 donations and instead received a record-breaking total of 242 from the ULM community; 45 on each day Monday and Tuesday, 50 on Wednesday, 67 on Thursday (prompting the need for a second bus), and 35 on Friday.
Andrea Wright, LifeShare Blood Center donor recruiter, thanked the faculty and staff for their warm welcome and accommodation. “Everyone I met was so friendly and concerned with how the blood drive was going. Thanks again for a successful blood drive! We look forward to seeing everyone again.”
