ULM students recognized at regional conference for Pi Sigma Epsilon

Two members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, John Bruscato of Monroe and LaTarshia Howard of Monroe, were recognized at the annual PSE Regional Conference, held in Baton Rouge Oct. 12.

The students were rewarded for ranking among the top during participation in the annual PSE Pro-Am-Sell-A-Thon, a sales competition for PSE collegiate members to provide them with the opportunity to experience the salesperson’s role in a simulated business-to-business sales environment.

Two members, Bruscato and Mark Juengling of Kenner, participated in the National Speech Competition, which gives PSE members the opportunity to display, use, and develop their speaking skills.

ULM’s Zeta Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon sent five of its members and their advisor to the event.

Members of the Zeta Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon who took part in the conference include:

"Meeting members from other chapters and being able to participate in the various workshops gave us the motivation we needed to set higher goals for our chapter," said Krey.

The conference included various events such as the PSE Pro-Am-Sell-A Thon, the National Speech Competition, CCO training, a career fair, speakers and workshops sessions, and the Saturday night banquet.
