Lambda Sigma Chapter fall initiation held Nov. 16
The Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi at ULM held its fall initiation Friday, Nov. 16 in the Student Union Building.
Nine Spanish language students were initiated

- Carolyn Branch, Rayville
- Justin Fuller, Columbia
- Mallory George, Littleton, Colo.
- Joshua Gross, Collinston
- Bray Harris, Lake Charles
- Tricia Hawkins, Bastrop
- Lydia Head, Tioga
- Megan Theriot, Plano, Texas
The ceremony was conducted by Joseph Cox, president; Nathan Sharplin, vice president; and Victoria Teague, secretary. Christian Rubio, assistant professor of foreign languages, and Sigma Delta Pi members Michelle Roberson and Nathan PĂ©rez assisted with the ceremony.
Sigma Delta Pi is the national honor society for university students of the Spanish language. Students are invited to join based on their study of Spanish, their grade point average, and their demonstration of an appreciation for Hispanic culture.
