ULM students to compete for prestigious ADDY Awards
University of Louisiana at Monroe students will be well represented in this year’s renowned ADDY Awards program, as 11 College of Business Administration students are currently entering 32 ads for competition.
The local contest, sponsored by the Advertising Club of Northeast Louisiana, is the first step before advancement to regional and national judging.
ULM students’ entries place in the American Advertising Federation Student ADDY Awards Competition section. According to the AAF, the not-for-profit industry association that administers the awards via 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts, this student competition is designed especially for college students, allowing their work to advance just like that of professionals across the United States.
As stated on the AAF website, “The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types.”
