Kuanliang has chapter published in criminal justice book
Attapol Kuanliang, assistant professor of criminal justice at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, recently had a chapter published in the criminal justice themed book, "Youth violence: Monsters and myths."
Kuanliang's chapter, entitled "Are we tough enough? Trends in Juvenile Sentencing," was created with co-author Jon Sorenson.
The book itself was edited by Marilyn D. McShane and Frank P. Williams III and was published as part of the Praeger Perspectives by Praeger Publishers.
Kuanliang is expected to receive his Ph.D. in juvenile justice from Prairie View A&M University this year. He obtained his master's degree in criminal justice from ULM in 2003 and received his bachelor's degree in political science from Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1999.
