ULM School of Nursing honors grads
ULM School of Nursing held a convocation ceremony for 53 graduates May 19.
There were 44 graduates in the traditional program option and nine from the accelerated program option. Walter Creekmore, a professor in the Department of Education and Human Development, spoke at the event.
Students who were inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing were presented with honor cords.
They include Nikki Lofton Amos, James C. Andries, Marti Richardson Andries, Chelsey B. Baker, Mary P. Barrett, DeAnna L. Causey, Lisa Cheek, Khelsea A. Conley, LaDonna Cooper, Caroline Carter Dixon, Loren Nicole Dixon, Tracy K. Duncan, Terri L. Ewing, Suzanne Michelle Green, Betsy A. Hillidge, Amanda Lynette Jackson, Anastasia Knecht, Alisia L. Lee, Susan Elizabeth Pesnell, Azlea Vanessa Pierce, Tiffany Nicole Porter, Tracey L. Ready, Christina M. Richey, Kristen A. Sluyter, Nicholas Spillers, Mary D. Striplin, LaSonya F. Thomas, Jeffrey O. White, Valerie T. Wilhelm.
Betsy Hillidge earned the Sigma Theta Tau award for the highest overall GPA in the graduating class.
Faculty named Michelle Greene and Loren Dixon Outstanding Students.
J.R. Wyatt and Tracy Ready were awarded the Student Peer Award.
