Upcoming Chautauqua Nexus Discussions Tackle Diverse Subjects at ULM
The educational and cultural Chautauqua Nexus series continues its semester roster with several scheduled discussions.
On Monday, March 13, Dan Makoske will lead a Chautauqua Nexus called “Intelligent Design.” The event begins at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th floor Media Room.
Kerry Heafner will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled “Watergate” Thursday, March 16 at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th floor Media Room.
On Monday, March 20, Dr. Wayne Brumfield, ULM vice president for student affairs, will speak at a Chautauqua Nexus entitled “Student Loan Indebtedness: What You Need to Know But Are Afraid to Ask.”The event begins at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th Floor Media Room.
Holly Wilson will host a Chautauqua Nexus called “Living Nonviolently in a Violent World: How to Outfox the Bully in Your Life” Thursday, March 23 at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th Floor Media Room.
Nexus presentations are free, informal and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend. ULM FRYS students are encouraged to attend and sign in.
“The Nexus is an opportunity for intellectual and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Joe McGahan, ULM psychology professor and Chautauqua Nexus organizer.
