Oestriecher honored by state CPA society
ULM alum Kurt Oestriecher, CPA, received the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA)’s Outstanding Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Discussion Leader Award in early August.
This award is presented annually to the top-rated Louisiana discussion leader based on number of hours taught, evaluations of participants, and overall quality of courses.
Oestriecher speaks about auditing and accounting and continues to receive excellent ratings in this technical topic. He is well regarded by the society for his willingness to serve as a speaker for LCPA programs. This is his second discussion leader award, having received his first in 1998.
Oestriecher is a partner with the Alexandria CPA firm, Oestriecher & Company.
The LCPA (www.lcpa.org) was organized in 1911 and represents more than 6,600 CPAs statewide working in public practice, industry, government, and education.
