Army ROTC to Host Ranger Challenge Competition at ULM
University of Louisiana at Monroe/Grambling
State University Army ROTC will host the 8th Brigade Ranger Challenge
Competition on November 11-12 on the ULM campus. Several university
Army ROTC programs will participate: GSU/ULM, Northwestern, Southern
University, Louisiana State University, University of Louisiana
at Lafayette and Alcorn State University.
There will be approximately 110 student cadets on campus for
military related training. They will be carrying M16A2 rifles
(no live ammunition). The ULM/GSU cadre as well as other cadres
will use simulation grenade fuses behind Brown Stadium on the
hand grenade assault course.

November 11: Day 1
Team Arrival NLT 4 p.m.
Cadre Meeting 4:30 p.m.
APFT 6:00 p.m.
Written Test; Patrolling 9:00 p.m.
November 12: Day 2
Wake Up 5:00 a.m.
10K Road March 6:00 a.m.
Round Robin 9:00 a.m.
Rope-Bridge
Hand Grenade Assault Course Weapons Assemble/Function Check/Weapons
Disassemble
BBQ/Awards 1:00 p.m.
