ULM Students to Host Letter-writing Event to Raise Money for St. Jude Research Hospital
Various organizations across campus are coming together to participate in a letter-writing event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Pharmacy fraternity Phi Delta Chi, Kappa Delta and the award-winning Warbonnet Dance Team are just a few of the groups joining together for the cause.
The event, which includes over 50 teams, will take place on Thurs., Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Activity Center on campus. This year’s turnout is expected to include more than twice as many teams as last year. There will be entertainment (including karaoke), food, and testimonials from local families that have benefited from the services of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Letters from each organization will be sent throughout the state, offering recipients a chance to contribute. If you would like to request a letter, or simply make a donation, contact Jenifer Armstrong at 318-342-5294 or jarmstrong@ulm.edu.
