ULM’s Director of Media Relations Changes Careers

The Director of Media Relations at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Veronika Avery, is leaving that position in order to take a new position in Fort Worth, Tx.
 
Avery has been with ULM since August 2001. She will be employed by Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as a sales representative beginning Monday, Nov. 28. She and her husband will make their home in North Richland Hills, Tx.
 
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the students, faculty and staff at the university as well as with the media and other community members. The family atmosphere of the campus makes it difficult to leave. I have gotten to know so many wonderful people on a personal and professional level and I will miss every one of them,” said Avery.
 
“I have learned so much from several people while in Monroe and at ULM, but now it is time to learn new skills and give someone else the opportunity to grow with ULM.”
