Greek Life Events at ULM
The National Panhellenic Council (NPC) sororities (Alpha Omicron Pi, Phi Mu, and Kappa Delta) will sponsor a Spring Recruitment January 27-30 in the Conference Center on the 7th Floor of the ULM Library. Activities January 27- 28 will consist of House Open events from 5 p.m. -9 p.m. All interested women should plan on visiting each of the three chapters at least once using these two days. An Invitational Preference Event will be held on Jan. 29 and a Bid Day Celebration will conclude the Recruitment activities on Jan. 30. There is no fee to participate in recruitment and applications can be downloaded on-line or picked up from the ULM Office of Greek Life located in SUB 214. The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) fraternities and sororities will host a Spring Informational February 2 at 7 p.m., in the Student Union Building Auditorium. Students interested in Membership Intake should attend this meeting. NPHC is composed of the International Black Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The ULM Interfraternity Conference (IFC) fraternities will have open rush in the Spring. For more information about Delta Sigma Phi, Kappa Alpha Order, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Sigma Phi Epsilon please call 318-342-5289 or send an email to gillan@ulm.edu.
A Greek Forum will be held January 25 in the Quad from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and in front of the Administration Building January 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. To learn more about Greek Life and the opportunities available, please visit the tent to speak to representatives from IFC, NPC, and NPHC.
